YONAS BERHE.
LOST LYRICS.
Yonas Berhe, professionally known as Lost Lyrics, is an Eritrean-American comedian, host, and creator whose work turns the experience of growing up between cultures into a shared language of laughter.
Raised in southwest Houston by Eritrean immigrant parents, Berhe originally pursued music. A move to Los Angeles brought difficult beginnings—and an unexpected turning point when a comedy video about East African parents connected with audiences online.
That connection grew from sketches into stand-up. His comedy explores family, identity, and the everyday contradictions of diaspora life, pairing personal storytelling with cultural observations that travel beyond borders. After returning to university and working in consulting, he produced a sold-out Dallas show in 2024, opening a new chapter in his live comedy career.
Today, Lost Lyrics brings audiences together through live shows, hosting, and digital comedy, with community and authentic representation at the center of the brand.
